General Information

The success of our products is very largely due to their quality, and relates directly to our aim of meeting the ever more demanding quality expectations of our customers in a market where prices are falling.

In our purchasing strategy, which takes into account both economic and ecological factors, we favour long-term collaboration with suppliers who share the same corporate philosophy. We work together with them to maximize quality and efficiency. We see ourselves as a product developer and initiator with excellent access to the market. We actively seek out suppliers both in Germany and abroad, and the primary focus of our in-house production is on final assembly and testing of the products that bear our name.

Our relations with our suppliers are performance-oriented and founded on a relationship of partnership and trust. Our business ethic is based on the principles of honesty, accountability and dependability.

Our suppliers need to meet the following criteria:

  • Established and fully implemented quality management system to DIN ISO 9000 ff. or equivalent
  • Loyalty to contracts and delivery promises
  • Sustainable prices that reflect market rates
  • Adequate flexibility to cope with fluctuating demand
  • Willingness to embrace innovation

For our production needs we require prefinished components and assemblies in the following categories:

  • Plastic and rubber components to drawing and tooling specifications
  • Electrical/electronic components and assemblies
  • Turned, milled and stamped components to drawing specifications
  • Die-cast components (magnesium, aluminium) to drawing specifications
  • Sintered components to drawing specifications
  • Components for small petrol-driven engines, to drawing specifications
  • Engineering services

Please note:

  • Our annual requirement for subcontracted components is between 5000 and 75,000 units
  • We normally source our components from a single supplier
  • It is our practice to place blanket orders with our suppliers
  • We do not undertake the supply of materials
  • It should be possible to source assemblies that have been functionally tested
  • In the case of components manufactured to tooling specifications the tooling becomes our property once the component has been cleared for series production
  • We normally provide detailed specifications for the materials we buy in and expect fully documented compliance with the specification.
